Scope

These terms cover your use of this website. The detection service is not live. Separate terms will apply to it and will be published before it opens.

What you may do

Read the site, share it, quote it with attribution, and join the waitlist. You may not attempt to disrupt the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without asking, scrape it at a rate that degrades it for others, or submit anything unlawful through the form.

On findings, when they exist

When the detector launches, any finding it produces will be a statistical estimate, not a statement of fact about authorship. Detection in this field is imperfect for everyone, including us. A finding is evidence to weigh, not proof, and it should never be the sole basis for a decision that materially affects somebody.

We will publish our error rates precisely so that findings can be weighed properly. Acting on a score without regard to the error rate in that band is a misuse of it.

Accuracy of information on this site

We cite external sources and date them. Policies and regulation in this area change frequently. We correct errors promptly when told about them: write to hello@aimusicdetector.ai.

Liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on the information here. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
